Get Electrostatic Painting for Metal Objects

Allied Electrostatic of Mn. Inc. will travel to your site–day or night, weekend or shutdown–to lay paper, plastic, and more in preparation for the job. Pieces are prepped by removing any tape, residue, wax buildup, grease, or other debris.

The pieces are then sanded with a 3m wet or dry sandpaper, with a grit of 280. This ensures a good tooth for proper paint adhesion.

All surfaces are then washed with a strong degreaser cleaner to assure that all the grease and contaminates are removed. All hardware, or bight work, are masked with 3m brand masking tape. Surfaces that are to be painted are tacked off in order to provide a lint-free surface. We use a solvent based enviro epoxy or enamel paint for interior products and enviro urethane for outside products to hold up against the weather and fading from the sun rays.

Once the coating is finished, all masking tape and paper is removed. Your painted products will be free of runs, sags, or blemishes for a professional factory-like finish. All used paints and solvents are then brought back to our shop for proper recycling.
